Plumber



Plumbers install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution, consumption and waste water disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Duties:

  • Installing, repairing and maintain various plumbing systems
  • Marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cutting openings in walls and floors for pipes and pipe fittings
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Welding
  • Testing pipes
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Interpreting blue prints

• Work safely as a team, following written and oral directions
